Construction of a new single storey primary school to provide a brand new learning facility for the community catering for 420 pupils from nursery – Year 6

The scheme involves extensive Earthworks including a large cut and fill exercise and incorporated a large retaining wall at the front of the site to retain material on site, together with all the necessary external services, a MUGA pitch, associated car parking and landscaped areas surrounding the buildings.

Churngold worked with Kier at tender stage to 3D model the earthworks to achieve the C&F balance to keep material on site.

The project commenced on 6th July 2020 with a 76-week programmer with client handover December 2021 with Churngold package of £1.5M within an overall contract value of circa £7.7M.
